Photographer Kouhei Morioka travels to Germany for his friend Hiromi Anzai's magazine to capture paranormal activity at a castle. Upon arrival, he meets Hazuki, a young girl with white dress and cat ears who calls herself a vampire. She offers him a kiss but turns him into her slave after biting him. Despite being turned into a vampire, Kouhei remains unaffected by the bite. Hazuki is unhappy about this turn of events and tries to escape with her possessive butler Vigo. However, she forces Kouhei to help her instead. With his cousin Seiji Midou's exorcist powers, they manage to leave safely. After returning home, Kouhei discovers that Hazuki has taken up residence in his house. Meanwhile, other vampires search for the missing Hazuki. Tsukuyomi: Moonphase is a gothic and adorable story about two unlikely allies forming a bond to defy an immortal society.
