Kouhei Morioka  

Kouhei is an artist who experienced paranormal forces in his childhood which made him unaware of spirits and supernatural beings, despite specializing in photographing them. He has a unique status as an "Ama Lamia," meaning no vampire can control him. Additionally, when a vampire feeds on him, their servitude ties to their master are severed, making Kouhei a threat to the vampire society's structure. It is later discovered that he possesses powerful spiritual abilities which were sealed by his family in order for him to live a normal life due to being too strong to control. Kouhei and Hazuki have an intense but loving relationship that eventually leads to romance. In the manga, Kouhei's last name is Midou.
