Hakuo Gakuin was once a highly regarded high school known for its martial arts training. However, due to the presence of its rival school, Seishikan, which has been luring away superior students, Hakuo's reputation began to decline. In order to regain its standing, the acting principal of Hakuo, Hojo Himeko, decided to send Yagyu Ranko on a mission to seek assistance from the Fuma ninja clan in the Fuma Village. The leader of the Fuma clan responded by sending Kojiro to Hakuo, where he was immediately confronted by the notorious Yasha clan, led by Asuka Musashi, who were fighting for Seishikan's lead. Soon after, Kojiros companions arrived, and an all-out ninja war between the two clans was postponed for 500 years.
