The Boukyaku Battery narrative revolves around two exceptional athletes - Kiyomine Haruka, an outstanding pitcher with unparalleled skills, and Kaname Kei, a skilled catcher known as "The General". In their senior league days, they were not only victorious but also managed to shatter the aspirations of numerous junior high school players who faced them. However, following an unfortunate incident, Kaname lost his memory, prompting him and Kiyomine to enroll at Kotesashi High School, a lesser-known public institution. At this new school, they encountered several talented athletes who had previously played against them in junior high but subsequently abandoned baseball due to their defeat. The story chronicles their journey of reuniting with these former rivals and establishing a new baseball club together.
