On his initial day at an all-boys school, Tooru Kounos's good looks drew unwanted attention from the male students. Although he was disappointed about having to transfer to a new school without girls, things got even worse when boys constantly stared at him throughout the day. Despite this, Tooru remained hopeful that there might be females present on campus since he had encountered a beautiful pink-haired girl earlier in the day. After being escorted by his classmate, Yuujirou Shihoudani, to his dormitory, Tooru met Mikoto Yutaka, who bore an uncanny resemblance to the girl from earlier. Surprised, he discovered that Mikoto was actually the girl in question and confronted him about it. Later on, Yuujirou confessed that he and Mikoto engaged in crossdressing as part of a school tradition where attractive first-years are selected as "Princesses" to boost student morale. Since Tooru possessed good looks, the student council had chosen him as their third Princess!
