Mikoto is the Eastern Princess who is more hesitant than the other two princesses to crossdress due to his fear that his girlfriend, Megumi, would discover it. Despite this reluctance, Mikoto remains a reliable character who often complains about tasks assigned to him but ultimately completes them regardless of whether he's forced or not. He is self-conscious about being a Princess and becomes mortified when anyone outside of school discovers his true identity. Mikoto is the most expressive of the three princesses, frequently showing emotion while yelling at Toru and Yuujiro. Although Mikoto is tone deaf and has never sung before becoming a princess, he cares deeply about those close to him, particularly Megumi. He changes character when around her, which amuses Toru and Yuujiro. Despite his whining and complaining, Mikoto eventually becomes accustomed to his role as a Princess and even imagines himself and Megumi dressed in Gothic Lolita costumes together. Mikoto has appeared in other media series before, including The Day of Revolution, where he was a supporting character based on his girlfriend's manga work. Additionally, Mikoto is described as being a jerk with a heart of gold.
