During World War II, as German forces advanced towards Moscow, the Soviet Union's future seemed bleak. Their only hope was a special unit within their intelligence service called First Squad, consisting of teenagers with supernatural abilities. However, the squad's sole surviving member, Nadya Ruslanova, suffered from memory loss and may not participate in any combat operations. As the moment of truth approached on the Eastern Front, when one man's actions could change history, a German occult organization called Ahnenerbe planned to summon Baron von Wolff, a medieval knight from the Northern Crusades, and his undead army from the underworld. To prevent this from happening, First Squad must reunite once again, with Nadya leading the charge to bring back her deceased friends and stop the Nazis from taking over the world.
