On one occasion, as Saki was hurriedly making her way to her piano class, she accidentally bumped into someone on the street. Following the collision, the stranger retrieved the sheet music that had fallen from Saki and handed it back to her along with a band-aid. Despite not uttering a word, the stranger then proceeded to depart without further ado. Afterward, Saki was left pondering about the identity of this enigmatic individual. To her astonishment, she discovered that Kanon, her new classmate at her new high school, was the very same person who had assisted her. Despite being deaf, Kanon rejected any form of assistance or special treatment from her teachers or classmates. Over time, Saki gradually developed a closer bond with Kanon, gradually peeling away her reserved demeanor.
