On one occasion, as Saki hurried towards her piano class, she accidentally bumped into someone on the street. After gathering her thoughts, the stranger handed her back her dropped sheet music along with a band-aid, without uttering a word. This left Saki puzzled about the identity of the tall and beautiful stranger. It was only until the next day that she discovered that Kanon, her new classmate at her new high school, was deaf and refused any form of assistance or special treatment from her teachers or classmates. Over time, Saki began to develop a closer relationship with Kanon, gradually breaking down her reserved exterior.
