Prior to Narutos birth, a massive demon known as the Kyuubi attacked Konohagakure and caused destruction. To stop the Kyuubis rampage, the leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage, sacrificed his life and sealed the monster inside the newborn Naruto. As a result, Naruto is now a hyperactive and clumsy ninja living in Konohagakure. Despite being shunned due to the Kyuubi within him, Narutos burning desire to become the Hokage of Konohagakure drives him to make new friends and face dangerous enemies.

Naruto received numerous awards during its airing, including the "Best Full-Length Animation Program Award" in the Third UStv Awards and the 38th "Best Animated Show" in IGNs Top 100 Animated Series.
