The narrative revolves around three individuals - uesugi kazuya, his older twin brother tatsuya, and asakura minami. while kazuya is highly admired in his community due to his exceptional talent, hard work, and status as the star pitcher on his middle school baseball team, tatsuya struggles with feelings of inadequacy and has been content to let kazuya take center stage. despite being potentially more gifted than him, tatsuya is often overshadowed by kazuya's accomplishments. minami, a childhood sweetheart who treats both brothers equally, is assumed to become the perfect couple with kazuya as society expects. however, as time passes, tatsuya realizes that he would sacrifice anything for his brother except giving up on minami. this leads to the development of a storyline centered around tatsuya's efforts to establish himself alongside kazuya and how it impacts their relationship with each other and with minami. additionally, both brothers work towards fulfilling her lifelong dreams.
