Hao Ren was initially a young man living in a fourth-tier city with limited financial resources. He unintentionally became a "universe police officer" when he went out for work. Despite struggling with accommodating abnormal creature tenants assigned by his superiors, his jurisdiction, the Dream Plane Universe, faced a cosmic crisis. As he delved deeper into his investigation, he discovered that the origin of abnormal creatures on Earth and the ruins of civilization in the Dream Plane Universe were somehow linked. With each passing day, Hao Ren realized that he might not be able to relax as he encountered one after another of the dusty and terrifying cases that had been buried for millennia.
