According to Eri Takenashi's shounen manga series published in Comic REX, our protagonist Jin discovers a sacred tree trunk that he uses to create a statue for his school project. When he takes it outside, to his astonishment, the sculpture transforms into a girl! This guardian deity is furious about her tree being cut down and now resides with Jin while she exacts her revenge by crushing insects, or as she puts it, "purifying" the environment.
