A Japanese pilot named Yazawa, who experienced a crash in his Phantom jetfighter and underwent a six-month recovery, is approached by an old friend from an airplane magazine to investigate the presence of a Phantom aircraft in an armed conflict occurring in El Salvador. As he delves deeper into the investigation, Yazawa discovers that it leads him to an international arms conspiracy. This storyline is based on a collection of military fiction novels.
