Makina Hoshimura is brutally murdered along with her family, which leads her to become a Shikabane Hime, a living corpse contracted by the Kougon Cult for revenge against the undead organization responsible for her death. Keisei Tagami, her former friend and now her contracted priest, assists her in seeking vengeance. The series follows Ouri, Keiseis younger brother, who discovers his brothers secret and becomes involved in the world of Shikabanes.
