Hiroyuki Imaishi
After finishing school in 1994, Hideaki Togashi joined the company known as Gainax. During his time there, he worked as a key animator on the popular anime series Evangelion. In 2007, he received recognition for his work on Gurren Lagann at the twelfth Animation Kobe Festival with an individual award. Togashi left Gainax in 2011 and established his own studio called Trigger.
