Koyomi Araragi is a high school student who survives a vampire attack thanks to Meme Oshino. Despite being cured of vampirism and becoming human again, Araragi possesses superhuman healing abilities and enhanced vision as side effects. He tries to live a normal life with the help of Tsubasa Hanekawa, his friend and class president. One day, while helping Hitagi Senjougahara who fell down the stairs, Araragi discovers that she is weightless. Despite her protests, he decides to seek assistance from Oshino, the man who had previously aided him. Bakemonogatari follows Araragi as he helps those with supernatural problems through various tales involving demons and gods.
Bakemonogatari adapts the first two volumes of NisiOisiN's Monogatari Series: First Season.
