The animated film "The Three-Eyed Boy Comes Here" is an adaptation of a popular Manga called "The Three-Eyed Boy." This movie was produced by Toei Animation Co., Ltd. instead of Tezuka Productions Co., Ltd., which had previously been involved in the production process. In this version, Tezuka Osamu only contributed to the original story and a synopsis for animation. The plot revolves around Sharaku and Wato investigating a mysterious old ship that leads them on an adventure involving strange islands. While the focus of the movie was more on entertainment than on theme, this change in concept led to Tezuka Productions Co., Ltd.'s withdrawal from the series.
