High school student Koyomi Araragi has recently experienced a variety of challenges, including surviving a vampire attack, encountering girls with supernatural entities, and simply trying to make it through life. On top of all this, he wakes up one morning to find himself kidnapped by his girlfriend Hitagi Senjougahara. The reason for her actions is that she has become involved with Deishuu Kaiki, a con artist who has targeted her family. In an attempt to protect Araragi from harm, Senjougahara has taken it upon herself to imprison him. However, when Araragi receives a frantic message from his sister Karen indicating that the fraudster has set his sights on her as well, he realizes that he must act quickly to save her. Meanwhile, Araragis other sister Tsukihi is also facing difficulties of her own. Additionally, two mysterious women who seem to possess an unusual amount of knowledge about Araragi and his friends appear in their lives. Their true intentions remain unclear, but it soon becomes apparent that they are hiding something significant. As the situation unfolds, Araragi must navigate a web of deceit and danger in order to protect himself and those he cares about.

Aside from the anime and books, there is also a visual novel for the Playstation Portable that tackles part of the series.
