The prequel movie to the slayers television series follows lina inverse and her traveling companion naga the serpent as they journey to mipross island. their initial purpose is to enjoy the hot springs, but they become entangled in a conspiracy involving a mazoku named joyrock. this mazoku had previously killed all of the elves on the island and absorbed their power. later, an old mage named rowdy gabriev joins them, driven by his love for one of the slain elves and his desire to defeat joyrock.
