The Seikyou Private Academy is steeped in ancient occult myths and has been haunted by a ghost known as Yuuko for 60 years. Driven to uncover the truth behind her death, she secretly leads the Paranormal Investigations Club. Through a chance encounter, Yuuko crosses paths with diligent freshman Teiichi Niiya, who can perceive the eccentric ghost. The two quickly develop a close bond and Teiichi decides to assist her in her quest for answers.
