In a world where half-human and half-animal chimeras live alongside normal people, it's inevitable that there will be some bad actors among them. As a lone wolf detective with the ability to extract critical information from samples of hair or taste buds, Inaba has proven himself to be an effective crime solver. Despite his hair fetish and cross-dressing assistant, Inaba's work is well respected by those around him. On the other hand, Inaba's nemesis, Don Valentino, a half goat crime boss with an appetite for green legal tender instead of greens, presents a unique challenge for Inaba. With his sworn mission to cut Valentino out of the criminal underworld before he can wolf down any more ill-gotten gains, Inaba will have to work hard to gather evidence and put the bad guys behind bars. However, with sheer dogged detective work, Inaba may just be able to crack the case and bring justice to those who deserve it.
