Fumitoshi Oizaki was born in Japan's Oita Prefecture on October 15th, 1975. He graduated from Yoyogi Animation school before joining Studio Uni. After leaving Studio Uni, he became a freelancer and frequently collaborated with studios Sunrise and GONZO. In 2008, Oizaki and Ikeda Touyo, the former producer of GONZO, founded Encourage Films Co., Ltd. with an initial capital of 5 million yen. Ikeda served as the representative director and president of Encourage Films until his death on February 17th, 2013. Following this event, Oizaki was appointed to serve as both the representative director and president of Encourage Films.
