A middle school student named Inari Fushimi has short brown hair and is rather shy and clumsy. Despite these challenges, she is incredibly kind. While wandering through her hometown, Inari stumbles upon a small fox cub in a river. She rescues him and continues on her way. However, after this encounter, her life takes an unexpected turn when the shrine goddess Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, or "Uka-sama," grants Inari a fragment of her power. With this new ability, Inari can transform into anyone by saying "Inari, konkon." This power may also help her gain the courage to express her feelings to her crush, Kouji Tanbabashi. Along with Uka-sama and the fox spirit Kon, Inari forms a deep friendship and discovers more about the supernatural world. She learns that true love knows no bounds.
