Meet Hitoyoshi Yokoya, a high school student living alone. One day, an unknown girl knocks on his door and offers to be his maid. She reveals herself to be a former assassin, which makes Hitoyoshi uneasy. However, when she saves him from being run over by a truck, he decides to take her in. Despite having no household skills, the mysterious girl's only expertise is assassination. Nevertheless, living with Hitoyoshi allows her to experience new emotions and inspires her to become a regular person. To move forward in her life, she asks him for a new name, which he names her Yuki. With someone to call family, Yuki creates cherished memories that fill her heart with joy as she tries to leave behind her dark past.
