On one summer eve prior to vacation, high school student Manatsu Daichi witnessed an unusual round rainbow in the sky above Tanegashima Island. Although he had seen this phenomenon before, it sparked his curiosity and prompted him to venture there alone. As he arrived on the island, he was reminded of his father's mysterious death and a previous encounter with a strange boy and girl. Meanwhile, an alarm sounded in a building labeled "Earth Engine," signaling the arrival of someone named Daiji. Before anyone could ask who he was or what he wanted, robotic intruders from Uranus called Kill-T-Gang appeared on the island. The stage was set for a battle around the shining stars.
