Masahiko Minami is a Japanese anime producer who serves as the president of Bones, an animation studio founded in 1998 along with Hiroshi Osaka and Toshihiro Kawamoto. He graduated from the arts department at Osaka University in 1961 and began his career at Sunrise, a renowned anime studio, as one of its producers. His classmates included Hiroyuki Yamaga, Gainax co-founder, and Kazuhiko Shimamoto, a mangaka.
