The tale of Gundam Build Fighters Try takes place 7 years after the conclusion of the first series. At Seiho Academy's Gunpla Battle Club, there is only one member left, Hoshino Fumina, who is a third-grade student in junior high school. As the club president, she must acquire two more participants to compete in the upcoming All-Japan Gunpla Battle Championships. One day, while searching for new members, she meets Kamiki Sekai, a transfer student seeking Kenpo training with his master. Later, she is joined by young Gunpla builder Kousaka Yuuma, and together they embark on their journey to participate in the Gunpla Battle.
