Shinichirou Asano faces numerous challenges. His parents abandoned him and left him with little financial support. To make ends meet, he must work. Unfortunately, he was recently fired from his job as a high school student with limited prospects. On his way home one evening, he encounters a centipede monster that attacks him. He is rescued by Sakuya Shimazu, a beautiful girl with a bow and arrow who attends his school. Later, while helping an injured girl, Shinichirou discovers she is not human but rather a nekomata, a two-tailed demon cat. Sakuya comes from a family of exorcists who have protected humanity for generations. Because Shinichirou was responsible for releasing the nekomata, Sakuya enlists his help in capturing it. This is just the beginning of Shinichirous relationship with Sakuya. The Shimazu family requires a housekeeper, and since Shinichirou excels at cooking and enjoys cleaning, he may not have his dream job but can pay rent and put food on the table.

Episode 1 was previewed at a screening at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku in Tokyo on January 5, 2015. Regular broadcasting began on January 24, 2015.
