In this world, humans share their environment with monsters. Sasahara Natsuki is a bounty hunter struggling financially. Most of her cases involve monsters violating human rights, which are safeguarded by law against the more powerful creatures. As a half-human and half cat-beast, Natsuki tries to understand both societies while upholding the law. She works with Batanen, a werewolf who is hesitant to confess his feelings for her; Tommy, another werewolf; and Sakura, a Kyubi fox demon with plans that may involve consuming Natsuki to enhance her powers as she completes her nine tails.
