In Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love!, the main characters are members of the "Earth Defense Club" at Binan High School. Despite their desire for relaxation and leisure activities like hanging out and visiting the nearby Kurotama Bath, they find themselves becoming "Battle Lovers" after a pink wombat appears suddenly and imposes this duty upon them. Their mission is to protect Earth from villains taking orders from a green hedgehog, including the chikuwabu monster, chopstick phantom, monster remote control, and other strange enemies. The series follows their journey as they work together to fulfill their responsibilities while also trying to enjoy themselves in between battles. Ultimately, it is up to these young heroes to determine whether love will prevail or if the Earth Conquest Club's hatred-filled agenda will triumph.
