The Grav-Shoes have revolutionized life on a four-island archipelago in Japan by allowing people to fly freely. This innovation has led to new ways of living and a sport called "Flying Circus," where participants earn points for touching floating buoys or hitting their opponents. Asuka Kurashina, who is new at Kunahama High School, accidentally discovers this world of flight during her first Flying Circus match. She later joins the school's Flying Circus club, led by Masaya Hinata and including experienced members Misaki Tobisawa and Mashiro Arisaka. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm follows the journey of this rookie group as they soar through the skies with their passion for flying and an uncertain future ahead.
