Chiharu Kashima, leader of the Crisis Countermeasures Division within the Wizard Bureaus, possesses magical abilities. At a bar, she encounters Toyohi Utsumi, who expresses admiration for her dream of becoming a wizard. Despite initial shock, Kashima discovers that Toyohi has fallen in love with her specifically as the Wizard Captain, not just for her powers. As time passes, their relationship deepens, but Kashima worries about the limitations of magic and whether Toyohi's affection is genuine or solely based on her status.
