It has been three years since the legendary Space Battleship Yamato returned to Earth after its long journey through space. During this time, humanity has worked hard to rebuild itself and establish peace with the Gamilans. However, achieving this recovery required the use of forbidden Wave Motion technology.
Meanwhile, former crew members of the Yamato received a psychic message from an unknown source, urging them to reunite on their beloved ship and travel to Terezart, a distant planet. They were promised access to revolutionary power that could help combat the growing threat of the Gatlantis Empire, who were approaching Earth with seemingly innocent intentions.
Despite initial hesitation, the crew was unable to resist the call from Goddess Teresa and set sail on another perilous journey through space. This voyage would test their courage and adaptability as they faced an even greater enemy than before.
