Willem Kmetsch embarks on a perilous journey to confront an enigmatic beast and sacrifices everything he holds dear in order to defeat it. Despite emerging victorious, he is encased in ice and awakens 500 years later as the sole survivor of his species. Along with other surviving races, Willem seeks refuge on floating islands high above Earth's surface, where they live in fear of the monstrous creatures that threaten their existence.
As he goes about his daily tasks, Willem is assigned to care for a storehouse filled with weapons. Upon closer inspection, he realizes that these are not ordinary weapons but rather a group of young Leprechauns who have no regard for their own lives and see themselves as mere tools of war. Among them is Chtholly Nota Seniorious, who is willing to sacrifice herself to ensure the safety of her people and bring peace to the world.
Willem takes on a fatherly role towards these young Leprechauns, watching over them with pride and supporting them in any way he can. He can only hope that those sent out to battle against the monsters will return safely, as he knows all too well the dangers of war and its devastating consequences.
