Aoyama is described as charming, athletic, and a good cook. However, he has a mysophobia which makes it difficult for others to interact with him closely. Despite this, he excels in soccer, where he plays the role of playmaker for Fujimi High School's team. Although his team faces challenges on their path to Nationals, Aoyama and striker Kaoru Zaizen will work together to prove that even clean freaks can be willing to get dirty when necessary.
