On Tuesday, a site was launched to unveil that a TV anime version of Yōsuke Kaneda 's manga series Kuroneko to Majo no Kyōshitsu will be airing in 2026. Along with this announcement, they shared the main cast, staff, and a promotional video for the show.

In March 2022, Kaneda released their manga series through Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app. On Thursday, Kodansha will release the 12th volume of this manga in English through their K MANGA service.
In 2015, the manga series "Boarding School Juliet" was introduced by author Kaneda in "Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine." It was later moved to "Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine" in 2017. After ending serialization in September 2019, the final compiled book volume was released in Japan in November of that year. "Boarding School Juliet" was nominated for "Shōnen" category in the "41st Annual Kodansha Manga Awards" in 2017. "Kodansha Comics" released the series digitally and in print in English.
In October 2018, a 12-part TV series was released as an anime adaptation. This show was exclusively available for streaming on Amazon Prime both in Japan and internationally.
