In 3990, Oldna Poseidal is the ruler of Pentagona, a solar system consisting of five planets. Daba Myroad survived the Yaman Clan's near-extinction and now lives on Koam with friend Mirao Kyao. He possesses L-Gaim, the last known relic of the Yaman Clan, which is a humanoid mecha commonly referred to as a "Heavy Metal." Daba befriends Fanneria Amu, an aspiring actress, and Lilith Fau, the last surviving fairy in Pentagona while fleeing from thieves seeking L-Gaim. Daba agrees to fulfill one of the dying wishes of a pursuing thief as an honorable act. This leads him to meet Amandara Kamandara, a powerful merchant. The group's objective is now within reach, but they will face formidable opponents and become embroiled in a rebellion against Poseidal's rule.
