The seal that held kirin no yuda and houou no ruka captive has been shattered, prompting them to seek vengeance against the deity who banished them to hell. in response, they aim to destroy the heavens, their former abode. as a result, earth's guardian angels start disappearing without explanation from heaven. an ominous sense of an animal spirit is felt, leading to the summoning of the 4 gods of beasts to investigate and rescue the fallen angels while also determining the source of this malevolent force.
