A film centered around a conflict within the solar system involving the Nohara family and extraterrestrial beings. The story revolves around Shinnosukes younger sister, Himawari, who becomes embroiled in a dispute with her family over an incident where she ate Shinnosukes crème caramel. This leads to two enigmatic figures appearing on the scene, and Shinnosuke agreeing to leave Himawari in their care. The Nohara family is then abducted by UFOs and transported to Planet Himawari. On this planet, Sunday Goronesky the Great declares that Himawari must become the ruler of the planet in order to save Earth and Himawari from a catastrophic crisis.
