In the year 2999, humanity is divided into two factions known as Terra and Ness. They are engaged in a conflict fought by starships. One of the most skilled pilots among them is Yamamoto Yohko, a teenage boy who is overly confident in his abilities. During one of his missions, he and his crew are drawn into a temporal anomaly that transports him back to our time. Although suffering from amnesia, Yohko believes himself to be an ordinary high school student until circumstances lead him to reunite with his ship, the TA-29, and fight alongside his friends in a war strikingly similar to an arcade game, complete with 100 yen ignition costs.
