Ayanos is a quiet girl who cares deeply for Yohkos wellbeing. She has always admired him since childhood and believes that his abilities are greater than hers in certain situations. As Yohkos best friend, she trusts him implicitly. Ayano lives with her grandfather, the Master of the Hakuhouin-Ryū Judo Family, which suggests that she may be his successor. She practices judo with her grandfather and appears to lack confidence in herself but enjoys starship battles. In later episodes, Ayano tries to become more independent from Yohko, causing them to clash during a starship battle. Ayanos primary weapon is the Super Struggle TA-27, which uses grapple hooks to latch onto opponents and throw them, an extension of her judo abilities.
