A film that combines elements of slapstick comedy with a heartwarming tale about the bond between the Nohara Family and their beloved dog, Shiro. The movie features musical numbers interspersed throughout. During a family vacation to Okinawa, Shiro becomes attached to an unusual object resembling a flying saucer that gets stuck to his bottom. This mysterious device is revealed to be a powerful bomb dropped by "The Only Buttocks Aliens", with the potential to destroy the entire planet. The UNTI (Unidentified Nature Team Inspection) begins tracking the bomb, but a group of female terrorists known as "Hinageshi Opera Company" attempt to steal it and disrupt UNTIs operations.
