Retsuko is a red panda who works in a repetitive office job and enjoys stress-relieving activities like death metal karaoke in her free time. She has recently made new friends Gori and Washimi, which has made life more enjoyable for her. However, new changes in her life are causing more stress. At work, she is put in charge of training Anai, a new employee who seems dedicated but may pose a threat to workplace stability. At home, her mother visits and insists on setting up marriage appointments for her daughter despite Retsuko's disinterest. This leads Retsuko to turn to death metal karaoke as a way to cope with her problems, but she realizes that this won't truly solve them. As a result, she embarks on another self-reflective journey to learn more about herself and love, with the support of death metal karaoke.
