The dynamics in some offices are typical, with a boss who is arrogant and doesn't do much work, employees who only aim to please their superiors, those whose lives seem perfect but have no real responsibilities, and individuals who end up doing all the actual work. Retsuko, a red panda character from Japan, falls into this last category as she works long hours to make up for her coworkers' slackness. She finds relief from the stress of her daily routine by singing death metal at a local karaoke club. For Retsuko, this is her own personal sanctuary where she can express herself and let go of her frustrations. However, as she pushes herself out of her comfort zone and opens up to others about her love for death metal, she discovers that sharing her passion with others may not be such a bad thing after all.
