Misaki works for Future Foundation as an investigator in the 6th Division's Special Case Bureau. Her partner is Takumi Hijirihara. Although her job involves investigating bizarre murder cases, she dislikes gore. Despite this, she remains determined and optimistic with the help of her cooperation with Takumi. Even though she can get easily frustrated by him, she shows compassion and patience when trying to understand his motivations.
