Yukis school has a teacher named Takao Hiyama who is the serial killer operating in its vicinity. Despite having only four lines of dialogue throughout the series, little is known about his character. His "Killer" diary records the location of his next victim and can be useful if one knows the identities of other diary holders and wants to take an offensive stance in the game. Takao wears a trenchcoat with a hat and mask while stalking prey, and carries a large machete as his weapon of choice. He is named after Vulcan, the Roman god of blacksmithing.
