As a child, Yuito was saved by the OSF, which sparked in him an admiration for them. He dreamt of becoming one of their members and worked diligently towards that goal. Although he wasn't scouted, Yuito eventually enlisted voluntarily. Yuito comes from a wealthy family with a connection to the founding father of New Himuka, Yakumo Sumeragi. Despite his strong character and psychokinesis abilities, Yuito was not discovered by scouts.
