Sakazuki, also known as admiral akainu, is a high-ranking officer in the one piece world. as one of only three admirals and subordinate only to fleet admiral sengoku, he holds significant power within the marines. akainu strongly believes in "absolute justice" and has destroyed a refugee ship due to the possibility that even one scholar could have escaped on board. his logic was that if any ohara scholars had fled with the ship, it would have been considered a mission failure. although aokiji disagreed with his actions, akainu's belief in absolute justice allowed him to command vast numbers of marine troops and order buster call attacks on islands. as an admiral, he is also assumed to possess comparable fighting abilities to kizaru and aokiji due to their shared rank. additionally, akainu has the ability to transform his body into magma using a devil fruit power.
