Shuutaro Mendo, as the inheritor of the Mendou Zaibatsu, possesses immense wealth and his own private army. He travels to school via a massive helicopter that resembles a flying mansion. Despite being handsome, Shuutaro is also incredibly foolish and lustful, much like Ataru, but with a more refined approach. As the heir to the vast Mendou fortune, Shuutaro takes his role very seriously. Mendou is characterized by vanity, narcissism, charm, drama, claustrophobia, and fear of the dark. He deeply loves Lum, tolerating Ataru's presence in order to be near her. Shinobu serves as his closest companion, almost like a girlfriend.
